Hi, I’m Beth!
During my college years, I had a plan — the kind that involved meeting the right guy and marrying young. But when Mr. Right didn’t show up on schedule, I packed a duffel bag and took off instead.
I spent months at a time living out of a suitcase, guiding biking and hiking trips in places like Bali, Iceland, and Costa Rica. I wasn’t making much, but I learned how to make it work — intentionally and sometimes very creatively.
Somewhere along the way, I discovered something that changed everything: I valued experiences far more than things.
Fast forward to marriage, kids, and (mostly) stay-at-home mom life…we were living on an average of about $60,000 a year. Even with a modest income, we created some really big wins in just a few short years:
Traveled regularly, both in the U.S. and abroad
Bought my husband’s dream truck
Purchased my dream guitar
Built a strong emergency fund
Gave generously to church and charity
Paid off over $20K in graduate school loans
Saved $500/month for a house down payment
Maxed out our annual Roth IRA and 401k matches
Grew our net worth to over a quarter million
Stayed debt-free (no credit card balances!)
Those years taught me something powerful: you don’t have to wait for a bigger paycheck to start living. You just need a plan that reflects your values, your goals, and the things that matter most to you.
Now, I help families who refuse to choose between creating memories and financial stability. Together, we build systems that fund bucket-list dreams without the credit card debt — because the best part of vacation should be the memories, not the payment plan.
So, what exactly is a financial coach?
I’m a financial coach, not a financial advisor or financial planner.
That means I don’t:
Manage investments or give stock tips
Create retirement plans
Sell financial products
What I do is just as powerful:
I help you get clear on where your money is going
Teach you how to budget in a way that actually works for your real life
Support you as you pay off debt and build savings
Guide your family in aligning money with what matters most
My People? They’re a lot like you.
You’re probably…
a mid-career professional making decent money, but wondering where it all goes.
more interested in experiences — family travel, summer camps, slow Saturdays — than just bills and Target runs.
someone who’s tried apps and podcasts…but honestly? Life gets busy and money management slides to the bottom of the list.
You’re not failing; you just need a guide.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
-
Picture your favorite travel guide: warm, approachable, and always armed with a backup plan. That’s me - only instead of helping you find the best gelato in Florence, I’m helping you find money for your next adventure and finally pay off those credit cards.
-
There are no pop quizzes or scolding here - just clear steps, kind coaching, and occasional references to Survivor (because alliance-building is 100% a life skill).
-
Together, we’ll get clear on your family’s financial goals, create a sustainable budget, pay off debt and plan for the fun stuff (like trips, obv), and build long-term habits so you can stop stressing and start enjoying.
A Few Fun Facts About Me (Because Financial Coaching Doesn’t Have to Be Boring):
I’m obsessed with Survivor and once took 3rd place in a live charity game. Yes - starving in the woods, “sleeping” on the ground, and lying 24/7.
I’m a total Peloton junkie - high-fives included.
I drink Irish breakfast tea strong enough to stand up on its own.
I’ve led biking and hiking trips in more than 20 countries - now I help families plan and save for their own unforgettable travel experiences.
I play the piano for church every Sunday.
I’m undefeated at Bananagrams and wildly competitive about it. (Sorry, not sorry.)
I’m married to Noah and we have two awesome kids - Asher, who’s 8 and into flag football, and Hannah, our 6-year-old unicorn lover.
My favorite place in the world? The Swiss Alps - mountains, fresh air, and wide-open adventure.
